communication protocols
(note: this page is still very much a draft in the works, just setting up the basic architecture for now)
background
I'm documenting notes and patterns of my preferred communication protocols within different digital ecosystems (and sometimes drawing how it correlates to analog aka IRL interactions). This documentation is directly inspired by Tantek's Communication Protocols. Admittedly, the common occurrence of people placing expectations on me for how to interact and/or making assumptions about what my online behavior "means" motivated me to finally wiki this.
disclaimer
These are my personal communication protocols. As I stated in an interview with MSNBC, everyone has different communication protocols and the important thing is to define your own.
methodology
I prefer communication to:
• ...
communicating content
non-starter conversations
• laptop usage around others
project collaboration
• asynchronous preference - need archives to check back on due to thought process flow - synchronous communication overwhelms ability to process
