Virtual Communities
Description of keynote given for the Joint Technology Associations Conference by ITKC
By empowering the user to become the storyteller, virtual communities are growing at an exponential rate. User Generated Content is augmenting the way we understand virtual worlds and ourselves. As technology advances, teaching tools to listen to a user’s story enhances intuitive interaction. The relationship between social and technology is becoming more complex, as there is no longer a clear divide. This presentation looks at the current amplification of social technology and expression via virtual platforms.
